Job Title: Technical Support Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Technician to join our team at S R PETROLEUM INC. The successful candidate will provide technical support to our employees, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to perform their duties efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical assistance to employees experiencing difficulties with computer systems, software, and other technical issues.
  • Research and implement solutions to technical problems, consulting user guides, technical manuals, and other documents as needed.
  • Offer advice and training to employees to help them overcome technical difficulties.
  • Collect, organize, and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts.
  • Supervise other technical support workers in the group, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Provide business systems, network, and Internet support to employees, responding to identified difficulties.
  • Set up equipment for employee use, ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP education.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a technical support role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Client focus and ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • Efficient interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Initiative and ability to take ownership of tasks and projects.
  • Judgement and ability to make informed decisions.
  • Organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Work Environment:
  • Fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
