Job Title: Marble Tile Setter

We are seeking a skilled Marble Tile Setter to join our team at Marble Design Inc. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing marble and granite tiles, as well as other types of tiles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surfaces to be covered with tiles
  • Mix and apply adhesives using hand trowels
  • Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to the base
  • Align and straighten tiles
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings
  • Instruct apprentices
  • Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles
  • Supervise other workers
  • Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative designs
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in tile installation
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and work in physically demanding environments
