Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at Infrastructure Ontario. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading complex infrastructure projects through all phases of development and implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead complex infrastructure projects through all phases of development and implementation, including pre-transaction, design, construction, and commissioning.
  • Manage the planning, design, and construction of large and complex infrastructure projects delivered through traditional direct-delivery and Public-Private Partnerships (P3s).
  • Manage relationships with various groups of internal and external stakeholders to mitigate project risks and ensure project objectives are met.
  • Lead presentations to seek approvals and demonstrate new concepts, including briefings for senior management and both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead in coordinating with various internal and external team members to establish agendas, processes, and procedures to advance business objectives and project outcomes.
Requirements
  • Background in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Engineering, or other relevant discipline to the design and construction industry.
  • Substantial hands-on experience managing major complex infrastructure projects, including direct hands-on management of consultants and contractors.
  • Strong business acumen and experience in dealing with project budgets, schedules, technical requirements, and construction methodologies.
  • Good understanding of traditional forms of contracts and P3 delivery models.
  • Experience negotiating claims, scope changes, and other compliance and contractual items on projects is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills (both verbal and written).
