Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and quality of service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and productivity.
  • Customer Service and Quality Control
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, adhering to company policies and procedures.
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inventory Management and Supply Chain
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize profitability.
  • Administrative and Reporting
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
    • Prepare and submit reports as required to management.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service management role.
  • Language and Work Environment
    • Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Client focus and efficient interpersonal skills.
    • Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team.
    • Initiative and dependability.
Working Conditions

This is a physically demanding role that requires standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking. A high level of attention to detail is also required.
