Talent Acquisition Responsibilities
  • Manage the full cycle recruitment process for both technical and non-technical positions, including leading end-to-end recruitment processes, championing exceptional candidate experiences, and conducting tailored sourcing efforts.
  • Partner with hiring teams to identify needs, provide support throughout the recruitment process, coordinate interviews, and propose opportunities for process improvement.
  • Identify and take ownership of creative recruitment strategies and opportunities that fit with VIA's culture and hiring needs.
  • Support equitable recruitment practices at VIA through the promotion of DE&I talent initiatives.
Employer Branding
  • Proactively partner with our marketing and product teams to develop and improve our employer brand strategy in targeted hiring markets.
  • Research, lead, and coordinate relevant recruitment and team-related public relations opportunities for VIA.
Requirements
  • Fluency in English; French is a strong asset.
  • Minimum of 3 years of recruitment experience in a fast-paced technical environment.
  • Robust knowledge of recruitment best practices, including expertise in recruitment and onboarding processes, experience leading and attending virtual and in-person recruitment events, and experience recruiting internally in a scale-up environment.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, experience working with an HRIS or ATS, and knowledge of the Montreal market in terms of recruitment, sources of talent, benefits, and total compensation.
  • Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills, ability to multi-task with strong organizational, planning, and time management skills, and experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, BambooHR, and Workable.
