We are seeking an experienced Program Coordinator I for the Engn – Chem & Biochem Engn department at Rutgers University-New Brunswick campus in Piscataway, NJ.
Job SummaryThis role provides overall administrative support and management of daily operations and performance of Graduate and Undergraduate Offices. Key responsibilities include coordinating department activities, projects, events, and meetings, collaborating with leadership and faculty instructors, maintaining confidential files, and ensuring compliance with university systems.
Requirements and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you must have:
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Two years of relevant experience in program coordination or administrative functions demonstrating knowledge and understanding of academic experiences, coordination with university offices, office administration, and facilitation
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, computer literacy, and a broad understanding of higher education practices in public research institutions.
Benefits and CompensationThe estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Benefits include access to our comprehensive health insurance plans, retirement savings options, and paid time off.
