We're seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team at United Rentals. As a Diesel Mechanic - Experienced (Service Tech IV), you'll play a critical role in maintaining and repairing complex equipment with limited or no supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment
  • Travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of rental or customer-owned equipment
  • Assist in training lower-level technicians as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed
  • Assist with equipment pick-up and delivery

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • 5+ years of experience repairing/maintaining equipment and tools
  • Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
  • Extensive knowledge of construction equipment and schematics
  • Superior customer service, teamwork, and communication skills
  • Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
