Job Title: Heavy Duty Mechanic

NCSG Crane and Heavy Haul Services is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our maintenance team in Fort McMurray, AB. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and service of property, equipment, and vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes.
  • Daily maintenance of property, equipment, and vehicles throughout the facility.
  • Inspect and evaluate operating conditions of equipment and vehicles.
  • Perform maintenance activities and modify existing equipment and systems to keep the facility in good running order.
  • Ensure all maintenance is completed in accordance with established department policies and safety regulations.
  • Attend training sessions to update technical knowledge as needed.
  • Assume responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
Requirements:
  • Licensed Journeyman Certificate.
  • 3rd or 4th year apprentices with relevant experience will be considered.
  • Valid Driver's License and must provide five-year commercial driver's abstract prior to hiring.
  • Heavy duty experience required and crane experience an asset, specifically Liebherr crawlers, as well as Grove, Linkbelt, and Tadano cranes.
  • Must have own tools.

  • Fort McMurray uplift is available for local candidates of $7.00 per hour up to $70.00 per day worked.
