About the Role

The Manufacturing Engineering Coordinator is a key member of our team, responsible for ensuring the successful execution of manufacturing programs. This includes managing vendor activities, design, tooling, and parts suppliers to meet cost, delivery, and quality targets.

Your Responsibilities
  • Lead and assess requirements for new and existing manufacturing processes within the plant.
  • Establish process requirements regarding machine, material, and methods in the quoting stage, launch stage, and engineering changes.
  • Manage suppliers and balance all requirements.
  • Ability to balance requirements of the program triangle (budget, resources, objectives).
  • Advanced knowledge of GD&T and ability to lead CFT and customer discussions.
  • Create and interpret Man & Machine Cycle Time Charts.
  • Working understanding of RSW and Sealer/Adhesive dispensing systems with bead detection methods.
  • Review product CAD and develop an assembly process.
  • Advance knowledge of PFMEA development and RPN reduction.
  • Make improvements in dimensional capability through CMM data interpretation, product understanding, tooling understanding, and upstream inputs.
  • Competent in use of problem-solving tools; 3L5W, fishbone, is/is not, A3.
Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communications skills.
  • Experience in Manufacturing Assembly and processing equipment from inception to launch.
  • Experience with various welding processes (e.g., Mig, Spot, Projection, etc.).
