About the Role

The Manufacturing Engineering Coordinator is a key member of our team, responsible for ensuring the successful execution of manufacturing programs. This includes managing vendor activities, design, tooling, and parts suppliers to meet cost, delivery, and quality targets. The coordinator works closely with staff specialists, customers, and suppliers to lead and assess requirements for new and existing manufacturing processes within the plant.

Your Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead all aspects of assigned programs from inception to completion.
  • Understand and effectively use the Red Flag Process.
  • Manage suppliers and balance all requirements.
  • Balance the program triangle (budget, resources, objectives).
  • Create and interpret Man & Machine Cycle Time Charts.
  • Have a working understanding of RSW.
  • Understand Sealer/Adhesive dispensing systems with bead detection methods.
  • Review product CAD and develop an assembly process.
  • Develop PFMEA and reduce RPN.
  • Make improvements in dimensional capability.
  • Use problem-solving tools (3L5W, fishbone, is/is not, A3).
  • Complete fast responses in time frame requirements effectively.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of TPS or other Lean Manufacturing systems is preferred.
  • Ability to use CAD software (AutoCAD, Solidworks).
  • Knowledge of APQP, PDP, GD&T, PPAP, & PFMEA documentation and processes.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Tooling Build Standards, Machine Build Standard, and Check Fixture Standards.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communications skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • Experience in Manufacturing Assembly.
  • Experience in processing equipment from inception to launch.
  • Experience with various welding processes (Mig, Spot, Projection, etc.).
