About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Head Chef to join our team at Kosoo Restaurant Ltd. in a permanent position.
As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for overseeing food preparation, menu planning, and inventory management.
You will work closely with our culinary team to ensure that every dish is prepared to perfection and meets our high standards.
Responsibilities- Determine food portion sizes and costs
- Plan menus and estimate food requirements
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience as a chef
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- A passion for cooking and delivering exceptional customer service
This is a full-time position working 30-40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 kg.
Compensation and BenefitsThe salary for this position is estimated to be $45,000-$60,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
