Job Title: Administrative Services Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Services Assistant to join our team at the Osoyoos Health Centre.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will perform a variety of administrative and Health Unit Aide support duties, including data entry, reception, and record management. They will also be responsible for scheduling appointments, maintaining medical supplies, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform data entry tasks, including gathering, organizing, and verifying information
  • Prepare presentations, arrange meetings, and transcribe minutes
  • Schedule and confirm client appointments, and receive, record, and check balances of cash transactions
  • Maintain and clean medical/surgical supplies, equipment, and HCIS resource material
  • Weigh and measure babies, calibrate equipment, and perform vision screenings
Requirements:
  • A current Typing Test 40 wpm or greater completed within the past 24 months from a recognized institution
  • An Office Administration Certificate
  • A current valid BC Driver's License
  • Your Resume
  • A Cover Letter stating your availability to start in a new position
