Carpentry Specialist

At Wright Construction Services Inc., we are seeking a skilled Journeyman/Woman Carpenter to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in the construction of buildings, bridges, and other structures.
Key Responsibilities:- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
- Instructing apprentices and providing guidance and support to ensure their development and success.
- Working at Heights Training
- First Aid Certificate
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
- Carpenter Red Seal Certificate
- Fall Arrest Protection Training Course
- Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate
- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
- Valid driver's license
- Own transportation
- Steel-toed safety boots
