Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at NS SONS 1 HOLDINGS INC. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our cafeteria, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy cafeteria.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Train new staff members on job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply needs for meal preparation, ensuring that we always have the necessary resources on hand.
  • Hire and manage a team of food service staff, providing feedback and coaching to ensure excellent performance.
  • Monitor and maintain quality control standards, ensuring that our food and service meet the highest expectations.
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and other key metrics.
  • Supervise the delivery of food trolleys and ensure that our customers receive prompt and courteous service.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
