About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Child Development Specialist to join our team at Big Dreams Early Learning Centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children.
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children.
  • Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs and taking children to local points of interest.
  • Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records.
Work Environment

The ideal candidate will be working in a day care centre or nursery school environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent full-time position with 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • English is the primary language of work.
