Job Description:The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing environment that supports the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children in our care.
The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to multitask, and possess strong judgment and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing Children's Development: Prepare learning plans tailored to each child's needs.
- Collaboration with Colleagues: Assist co-workers with housekeeping and cooking duties.
- Program Development: Design and implement child-care programs promoting children's growth and well-being.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure daycare equipment is in good condition.
- Creative Engagement: Encourage children to express themselves through art, music, and physical activity.
- Progress Monitoring: Observe children for potential issues and report to parents or supervisors.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
This role involves repetitive tasks, physically demanding activities, and requires attention to detail. The working hours are approximately 35-40 per week.
Requirements:To succeed in this position, you should have:
- Education: A degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Languages: Fluency in English (required).
