Digital Ecommerce Director for HVAC Industry Leader

As a seasoned Digital Ecommerce Director, you will be responsible for driving the success of our ecommerce division. You will develop and implement a comprehensive ecommerce strategy that fuels sales growth, enhances the customer experience, and sets us apart from the competition.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years of progressive experience in ecommerce or digital marketing, preferably in a distribution-related industry. Previous experience with Suite Commerce platform (NetSuite) is considered an asset. Additionally, the candidate should have certifications in ecommerce, digital marketing, analytics, and proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, SQL, HTML.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around $120,000-$150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This position offers a flexible work environment that allows you to work both in the office and at home.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive ecommerce strategy that fuels sales growth and enhances the customer experience
  • Oversee daily operations of the ecommerce platform, including seeking out efficiencies and improvements within the platform
  • Collaborate with Marketing on digital campaigns, including email marketing, Google Ads, and social media, to drive targeted traffic to the ecommerce platform
  • Provide strategic input and collaborate with Operations teams to implement customer-focused ecommerce plans and promotions
  • Actively conduct research to stay ahead of ecommerce trends, competitor activities, and new digital tools in the industry
  • Track & report on data from the ecommerce campaigns, sales, website traffic, customer engagement, with the goal of optimizing better conversion rates and business growth

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in ecommerce, marketing/digital marketing, business, or another related field
  • At least five years of progressive experience in ecommerce or digital marketing, preferably in a distribution-related industry
  • Previous experience with Suite Commerce platform (NetSuite) is considered an asset
  • Certifications in ecommerce, digital marketing, analytics
  • Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, SQL, HTML
