Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Altex Inc. in a permanent position. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and manufacturing products to meet our high standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and prepare work areas to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Affix seals and tags to approved products to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Inspect manufactured items for defects and conformance to specifications.
  • Use hand tools to sand, trim, grind, or clean products into their final form.
  • Assemble parts and components to form final products using various techniques such as screwing, clipping, gluing, bonding, welding, or other methods.
  • Cut, shape, and fit materials to form parts and components.
Work Environment

As an Assembly Technician, you will be working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a focus on quality and efficiency. You will be required to handle heavy loads, work in a physically demanding environment, and have good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
  • Reliability and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Will to learn and train on new skills and processes.
