Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Altex Inc. in a permanent position. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and inspecting products to ensure they meet our high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and prepare work areas to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Affix seals and tags to approved products.
  • Inspect manufactured items for defects and conformance to specifications.
  • Use hand tools to sand, trim, grind, or clean products into their final form.
  • Assemble parts and components to form final products using various techniques such as screwing, clipping, gluing, bonding, or welding.
  • Cut, shape, and fit materials to form parts and components.
Work Environment

As an Assembly Technician, you will be working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a focus on quality and efficiency. You will be required to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.

Requirements
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
