Job Overview

We are seeking a US Benefits Manager to join our team. This individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our employee insurance program across the United States. The successful candidate will have 5-7+ years of experience in benefits, with a strong understanding of U.S. benefits regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities
  1. Oversee the daily administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance and our internal giving program, the We Stand Together Fund
  2. Evaluate and recommend improvements to existing benefits programs. Research and benchmark benefits offerings to ensure competitiveness and alignment with industry standards.
  3. Manage relationships with benefits vendors and service providers. Negotiate contracts and service agreements to optimize service and cost-efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education, ideally in HR, or equivalent experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Compensation

The typical hiring range for this position is from $103,500-$135,900 CAD annually. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
