About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Services Representative to join our Agency Bill Team. In this exciting and varied role, you will be responsible for reconciling Agency Bill Accounts with the goal of keeping our receivables current. You will work collaboratively with our regional partners to resolve discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities

- Post broker payments and statements to our A/R system accurately and maintain an electronic filing system

- Perform Daily/Monthly reconciliation of assigned Broker accounts by analyzing, researching, investigating, and resolving outstanding transactions

- Work closely with our Brokers and Underwriting Teams to resolve discrepancies

- Maintain accurate electronic records of all discussions including follow ups

- Respond to incoming Agency Bill inquiries

- Escalate problematic brokers and unresolved discrepancies in a timely manner

- Prepare, attend, and participate in Broker meetings/discussions

Requirements

- Strong customer service attitude to maintain favorable business relationships and negotiate tactfully with brokers and underwriters

- Detailed oriented, highly organized, and prioritize the workload

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Strong computer skills including advanced EXCEL skills

- A good understanding of fundamental accounting concepts

- Resourceful and able to deal with tight deadlines at month end
