At Dr. Kamaljit Sekhon Inc., we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory of equipment, performing general clerical duties, and scheduling appointments. You will also be responsible for ordering supplies, maintaining filing systems, and interviewing patients to obtain case histories. Additionally, you will determine and establish office procedures and routines, complete insurance and other claim forms, and enter and format electronically based medical reports and correspondence. If you have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role and are proficient in MS Windows, MS Word, and electronic mail, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain inventory of equipment
  • Perform general clerical duties
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Order supplies and maintain inventory
  • Maintain filing system
  • Interview patients to obtain case histories

  • Complete insurance and other claim forms
  • Enter and format electronically based medical reports and correspondence

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficient in MS Windows, MS Word, and electronic mail
  • Permanent employment
  • 30 to 40 hours per week
