About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior GTM Specialist to lead our Storage solutions in Canada. As a key member of our Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) team, you will be responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategies to drive adoption of AWS Storage services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute GTM programs and initiatives to grow adoption of AWS Storage services
  • Work directly with customers to map Storage, Data, and AI services to deliver on their business objectives and outcomes
  • Use business savvy and excellent verbal and written communication skills to develop targeted sales plays and enablement programs
  • Partner with industry teams to identify workloads that impact our Storage services
  • Act as a trusted business advisor to guide cross-functional teams to accelerate customer adoption and revenue attainment
  • Represent the voice of the customer and collaborate with field and central teams to bring customer feedback to product teams
  • Provide advanced technical knowledge to aligned GTM teams to unblock customers' largest and most critical business challenges
  • Collaborate with GTM colleagues to provide technical insights into GTM strategy and support field marketing
About the Team

Our team is part of AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS), which is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest-growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers.

Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in design, implementation, and consulting of distributed applications
  • 7+ years of management of technical, customer-facing resources
  • 7+ years of Storage experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • History of successful technical consulting and/or architecture engagements with large-scale customers or enterprises
  • Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
  • Strong written communication and presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers
  • Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
  • Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries
  • AWS Solution Architecture certification or relevant cloud expertise
