Area Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Supervisor to join our team at Webber Infrastructure Management Canada Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of infrastructure assets, ensuring that all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise maintenance crews to ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure that all infrastructure assets are properly maintained.
- Inspect and report on the condition of infrastructure assets to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Supervise and train maintenance crew members to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Respond to emergency situations and coordinate the response efforts of maintenance crews.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including ministry staff, contractors, and the general public.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory management.
Requirements
- High School Diploma.
- Minimum five years work experience in construction and/or road maintenance industry is required. Previous supervisory experience is required.
- Valid driver's license and have an acceptable driving record (required).
Work Environment
The incumbent will split working time between office and field work.
Office Environment
- The employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time and occasionally stand and/or walk for short periods of time. Use hands and fingers; reach with hands and arms. Vision abilities include close and distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
Field Environment
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is routinely exposed to outside weather conditions including extreme heat and cold. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high precarious places; fume or airborne particles. Occasional exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and sometimes high.
