Area Supervisor

Job Summary:
Clintar Commercial Outdoor Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising field operations, providing quality and timely service to our customers, and contributing to the planning and execution of all work requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directly supervise crew leaders and crew members, ensuring they have the necessary training and resources to perform their duties effectively.
- Plan and conduct ongoing training for field service staff in customer relations skills, horticulture, and technical skills.
- Ensure a high degree of diplomacy when dealing directly with customers, resolving complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Monitor and maintain facility and yard organization, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
- Develop and implement procedures to eliminate customer complaints and improve overall customer satisfaction.
- Supervise winter staff and storm execution within your assigned area, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
- Monitor field staff morale and work to promote a total team effort, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to identify ways to ensure a high customer retention rate, developing and implementing strategies to achieve this goal.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a large commercial landscape and snow environment.
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate heavy equipment.
- University or college degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
- Advanced Snow Management (ASM) or Certified Snow Professional (CSP) designation an asset.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence, including proposals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions in one-on-one and small group situations.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of customer service situations.
Work Environment:
The successful candidate will be required to spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers, as well as working in the field in inclement weather. A valid driver's license and ability to operate heavy equipment are essential for this role.
