Job Title: Food Services Supervisor

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Services Supervisor to join our team at Queen's Pizza and Wings. As a Food Services Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity and quality of work
  • Recruit and train new staff members to ensure a high level of customer service
  • Set staff work schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels to meet customer demand
  • Supervise staff and provide guidance on food preparation, presentation, and service
  • Conduct performance reviews to evaluate staff performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Organize and maintain inventory of food and supplies to ensure efficient operations
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed at all times
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
  • Lead and instruct individuals to achieve team goals and objectives
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities to ensure a safe and clean environment
  • Order stock and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Inspect the cleanliness and practices of establishment employees to ensure high standards are met
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to achieve business objectives

Requirements:

  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle (or ability to use public transportation)
