About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Tile Installer to join our team at Pooni Tiles Inc. As a Tile Installer, you will be responsible for installing ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tiles in residential and commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare surfaces for tile installation, including measuring, marking, and cleaning.
  • Mix and apply adhesives, mortars, and grouts to ensure a strong bond between tiles and surfaces.
  • Set tiles in place, using hand tools and power tools as needed.
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings, using hand and power cutting tools.
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles.
  • Supervise other workers and ensure that all work is completed to a high standard.
  • Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural, and floor designs.
  • Estimate costs and materials for tile installations.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in tile installation is an asset.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Physical stamina to lift and move heavy materials.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
