Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Consultant to join our team at Shared Health. As a key member of our human resources team, you will provide strategic guidance and support to management and stakeholders to drive business outcomes and improve employee engagement.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide expert advice on human resources management, labour relations, and employee development to internal clients and stakeholders.
  2. Develop and implement effective human resources strategies and solutions to support business objectives and improve employee engagement.
  3. Collaborate with management and union representatives to resolve complex HR matters and improve labour relations.
  4. Provide leadership and guidance on employee development, performance management, and succession planning.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, legal requirements, and best practices in human resources management.

Requirements

5 years of progressive experience in human resources management, preferably in a unionized environment. An undergraduate degree in human resources or a relevant discipline combined with a post-graduate certificate in human resources management is required. Chartered Professional in Human Resources designation with current membership in good standing is preferred.
