Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team in Halton Hills, Ontario, Canada. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment in the field, supporting our growth strategy, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the fleet in the field, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition.
  • Repair down equipment in the field and at customer locations, using your expertise in electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment throughout the territory, identifying potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Develop and optimize efficient processes and routines, improving productivity and reducing downtime.
  • Improve measurable success to business targets, working closely with the Customer Service Manager to achieve our goals.
  • Document all work performed daily using company-provided hardware and software, maintaining accurate records and reports.

Requirements

  • 2-3+ years of experience as an industrial-related field service mechanic, with a strong background in equipment maintenance and repair.
  • An appropriate Electromechanical degree or training, with a focus on electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the maintenance, overhaul, and repair of different industrial equipment, including electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • A good command of English, with a second language knowledge a bonus.
  • High energy levels, with the ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in industrial environments with varying temperatures.

Location

This role is based in our store in Halton Hills, Ontario, Canada, with travel to customer sites within the region. The position is hybrid, with a mix of in-store and field work.
