Oyster Freight Services Inc. is seeking a skilled Automotive Glass Technician to join our team. As an Automotive Glass Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and replacing windshields, windows, and sunroofs on vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Estimate repair costs based on damage examination reports
- Inspect repaired vehicles to ensure quality workmanship
- Plan and execute repair work to meet customer expectations
- Provide exceptional customer service and professionalism
- Test drive vehicles to ensure proper handling and safety
- Clean and maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Replace front-end components, body components, doors, and underbody components
- Repair or replace damaged glass components
- Operate soldering equipment and use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams
The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel. Steel-toed safety boots are required.
Requirements- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the automotive glass industry
- Permanent employment
- English language proficiency
- 35 to 44 hours of work per week
