Job Overview

Paladin Security is a leading provider of security services, dedicated to making the world a safer and more secure place. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Console Operator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dispatch alarm and occurrence responses in a timely and efficient manner
  • Coordinate scheduling changes, book-offs, and other administrative tasks
  • Document all information into comprehensive reports
  • Escalate situations to stakeholders as required
  • Ensure necessary procedures are followed in the event of emergencies
  • Liaise with local emergency services and client personnel
  • Provide briefings to management, supervisors, and staff as required
  • Patrol designated areas
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Experience in a control room environment with CCTV and access card systems
  • Valid security license for the province of Ontario
  • Valid WSIB-approved First Aid Certificate Level C

Desirable Skills and Knowledge

  • Functional ability with the Windows operating system and Windows Office software
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
  • Familiarity with Tracktik is considered an asset
  • Superior customer service and professionalism
  • Above-average English communication skills, both verbal and written; French is considered a strong asset
  • Ability to function independently and multitask effectively in a dynamic environment
  • Previous operations center experience is considered an asset
