Research Scientist in Computational Biology

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research Scientist to join our Global R&D, Skin Research & Innovation group in Piscataway, NJ. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing comprehensive and detailed analysis from omics-related skin data, including RNA-seq, spatial transcriptomics, single-cell sequencing, proteomics, metabolomics, and epigenetic datasets.
Key Responsibilities:- Utilize design and implementation tools and various applications to support skin health research.
- Apply machine learning models to improve data analysis.
- Extract meaningful biological insights from complex datasets, integrating findings with existing biological knowledge and systems biology.
- Collaborate to validate results and interpret findings through presentation and data visualizations to internal partners.
- Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of experience in Bioinformatics or Masters in Biology/Chemistry with 2+ years in Bioinformatics with a skin biology background.
- Hands-on experience in evaluating bioinformatics projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills, project management, and execution skills.
