Key Responsibilities- Hardware Deployment and Maintenance
- Perform intermediate hardware deployment activities, including installations, moves, adds, and changes, for PCs, laptops, printers, and other devices.
- Handle hardware roll-outs, refreshes, and other deployment-related activities.
- Software Installation and Support
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot software applications and systems.
- Provide technical support for software-related issues.
- Technical Support and Troubleshooting
- Perform deskside support services, including hardware and software troubleshooting and repair.
- Provide 1st level technical support to clients.
- Network and Internetworking Support
- Perform basic LAN and internetworking-related activities.
- Configure and troubleshoot network devices and systems.
- Call Management and Communication
- Respond to and update calls from the National Dispatch/Call Management Center.
- Communicate with clients to diagnose problems, establish ETAs, and determine parts requirements.
- Experience
- At least 1-2 years of field service experience in hardware deployment and maintenance.
- At least 1-2 years of deskside support experience.
- Skills and Certifications
- Strong internetworking and troubleshooting skills.
- A+ certification.
- Other vendor certifications from Cisco, Microsoft, and/or OEMs (Dell, Toshiba, Lenovo, HP).
- Personal Qualities
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to complete tasks effectively with minimal supervision.
- Availability to work flexible schedules.
A minimum of a Diploma from a recognized IT program.
