Job Title: Addiction Support Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Addiction Support Specialist to join our team at St. Joseph's Care Group. As an Addiction Support Specialist, you will work in a residential setting, providing support and guidance to individuals struggling with addiction.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide individualized support and guidance to clients
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate records and reports

Requirements:

- 2-year Diploma in a post-secondary Human Services field
- 1 year working experience or specialized training in addictions
- Safe Food Handling certificate
- Standard First Aid certificate
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Class G driver's license and adequate insurance
- Demonstrated regular attendance at work

Condition of Employment:

- This position is conditional upon a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check
- Offers of employment are conditional upon providing proof of COVID-19 vaccination or valid medical exemption
