Physiotherapist - Tertiary Care Specialist

The Physiotherapist will play a key role in our clinical team, collaborating with colleagues to determine team goals and objectives, participating in the evaluation of team effectiveness, and solving problems. The physiotherapist will assess, diagnose, and treat patients in a tertiary care setting who present with actual or potential impairments, pain, functional limitations, or disabilities.
The physiotherapist will educate and communicate with other health disciplines, the general public, family members, and caregivers regarding health promotion, physiotherapy treatment, and pain management. The physiotherapist will provide supervision and evaluation of physiotherapy students, and supervision of physiotherapy assistants and aides.
About YouWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced physiotherapist who possesses the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy from an accredited university
- Membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists (provincial licensing body)
- Computer skills, including statistics input, word processing, and Microsoft Outlook
- Annual Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System training and certification (WHMIS)
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours- Long assignment, full-time position; 75 hours bi-weekly
- Approximately a 12-month assignment
- This position works shifts over a 6-day per week schedule, including weekends and holidays
$42.89 hourly
