Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Guest Service Supervisor to join our team at Comfort Inn Edmundston. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and have a memorable stay with us.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Team Management: Co-ordinate activities with other departments, establish work schedules and procedures, and perform duties alongside supervised workers.
  • Guest Service and Support: Assist clients with special needs, co-ordinate, assign, and review work, and ensure that all guests receive a high level of service.
  • Operational Management: Maintain operation of systems, equipment, and machinery, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure health and safety regulations compliance.
  • Staff Management: Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies, and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Administrative Tasks: Prepare and submit reports, requisition materials and supplies, and perform other administrative duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Language Proficiency: English language proficiency is required.
Work Environment:
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, large workload with overtime required, and ability to work under pressure.

  • Personal Qualities: Accurate and organized, client-focused with efficient interpersonal skills, dependable, flexible, and a team player, initiative, interpersonal awareness, and judgment.
