Job Title: Guest Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Guest Service Supervisor to join our team at Comfort Inn Edmundston. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and have a memorable stay with us.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to maintain high standards of service
  • Perform same duties as workers supervised to stay connected with the team
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on guest feedback and service delivery
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs to ensure their stay is comfortable and enjoyable
  • Co-ordinate, assign and review work to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
  • Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies to maintain a high-performing team
  • Maintain operation of computer systems, equipment, machinery and arrange repair work to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery
  • Requisition materials and supplies to maintain a well-stocked front desk
  • Perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment is in good working order
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's licence to transport guests and staff as needed
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks
  • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines to meet guest expectations
  • Large workload with multiple tasks to complete simultaneously
  • Overtime required to ensure guest needs are met
  • Standing for extended periods to provide exceptional service
  • Work under pressure to maintain a high level of service delivery

Experience:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
