Job Summary:

The Team Lead will be responsible for leading a team of maintenance personnel in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have a strong background in flight and maintenance operations, with a proven track record of leading teams and ensuring safe operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of maintenance personnel in a diversified and changing high tempo environment
  • Coordinate the assignment of personnel to maximize production flow
  • Perform an annual assessment of the assigned crew
  • Ensure airworthiness and safety policies, processes and standards are adhered to
  • Supervise, approve timesheets, and vacation requests for Aircraft Maintenance Technicians and Aircraft Maintenance Engineers
  • Provide information, training, instruction and supervision to protect the Occupational Health and Safety of Employees
Requirements:
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience with flight and maintenance operations
  • Leadership skills and the ability to lead a team in a diversified and changing high tempo environment
  • Positive, professional attitude, identify and resolve issues proactively with minimal supervision
  • Hold a valid Transport Canada M2 license, an asset
  • Strong knowledge of AMS, an asset
  • Proven track record to support and lead safe operations: OHS, Flight Safety, procedures, Human Factors etc.
