THE ROLE

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Personnel Support Programs, to lead our operational efficiency and spearhead strategic initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, managing, and controlling the operations and delivery of Personnel Support Programs, including hospitality, physical fitness, sports, recreation, health promotion, and community service programs.

You will oversee the management and administration of personnel and program delivery for our teams located in Bagotville, Quebec, including financial oversight of various funds. You will also liaise and partner with other divisions of CFMWS and participate in the development and implementation of Base policy, as well as oversee fitness training and sports programs, policies, and directives.

As a leader, you will cultivate effective dialogue within your team and adeptly handle any conflicts that emerge. You will be responsible for delivering programs and services to our clients - members of the Canadian Armed Forces and their families.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Physical Education, Recreation, or Health Promotion, and several years of management experience in a related field. Alternatively, a demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience is also acceptable.

The ideal candidate will have experience in planning, managing, controlling, and evaluating the operations and delivery of multi-business operations, providing advice and guidance, business and strategic planning, managing projects, financial administration, budget administration, personnel administration, writing, interpreting, and applying policies, procedures, regulations, and applicable legislations.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

Bilingualism is essential for this role, with advanced reading, functional writing, and advanced oral communication skills in both official languages.
