**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessing clients' physical and cognitive functioning, creating and implementing individualized treatment plans, and providing education and support to clients and their families.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Assess clients' physical and cognitive functioning within the clinic setting, including job demands analyses, functional capacity evaluations, cognitive abilities evaluations, ergonomic assessments, and pre-employment assessments.
  • Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on analysis and clinical reasoning.
  • Educate clients on topics such as safe body mechanics, cognitive behavioral strategies, and functional tolerance activities.
  • Support return-to-work programs, including job coaching and accommodation recommendations.
  • Utilize e-charting software to document treatment sessions and submit reports to stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Participate in case conferences and case management.
  • Collaborate with the inter-professional team at your clinic.
  • Supervise Occupational Therapy students (as preferred).
  • Network with stakeholders to promote Lifemark OT programs.
  • Manage caseload in a fast-paced environment.

**Requirements**

  • Registration (member in good standing) with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists.
  • Previous experience treating clients with physical, neurological, and/or mental health conditions.
  • Ability to be autonomous and work both independently and as part of the team.
  • Demonstrated commitment to post-graduate professional development.
  • Previous experience supporting auto insurance, long-term disability, and WSIB referrals is a strong asset.
  • Experience supporting occupational rehabilitation is a strong asset.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
