Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Cashier who is knowledgeable about our products and services and can provide outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales targets and meet customer needs.

Responsibilities
  • Operate cash register: Process payments accurately and efficiently, handle cash, credit card and debit card transactions
  • Process money, cheques and credit/debit card payments: Ensure accurate and timely processing of payments
  • Scan items: Accurately scan merchandise for customers
  • Receive payment for goods or services: Collect payment from customers in a professional and courteous manner
  • Greet customers: Welcome and interact with customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
  • Provide customer service: Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate: We require a secondary education diploma or equivalent
  • Standing for extended periods: Ability to stand for extended periods, move around the store and perform tasks that require standing
Working Conditions
  • Fast-paced environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines and managing multiple tasks simultaneously
Benefits
