Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Huron Lodge. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents on a 24-hour basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delegating work to staff members and ensuring quality care is provided in accordance with legislated standards.
  • Ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for staff, in accordance with Huron Lodge and Corporate policies and procedures.
  • Attending mandatory-in-service training and maintaining professional relations with residents, families, and fellow staff.
  • Performing Occupational Health & Safety duties and other related tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse.
  • Experience in nursing within the last five years.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the general public and fellow staff.
  • Previous experience in geriatrics is an asset.
Working Conditions

Shifts will be rotated as required to meet the needs of the Home. The physical demands analysis associated with this job indicates a medium level of work.
