We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Huron Lodge. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents on a 24-hour basis.
Key Responsibilities- Delegating work to staff members and ensuring quality care is provided in accordance with legislated standards.
- Ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for staff, in accordance with Huron Lodge and Corporate policies and procedures.
- Attending mandatory-in-service training and maintaining professional relations with residents, families, and fellow staff.
- Performing Occupational Health & Safety duties and other related tasks as required.
- Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse.
- Experience in nursing within the last five years.
- Ability to communicate effectively with the general public and fellow staff.
- Previous experience in geriatrics is an asset.
Shifts will be rotated as required to meet the needs of the Home. The physical demands analysis associated with this job indicates a medium level of work.
