Job Title: Technical Project Manager - Food Industry

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to lead all engineering and technical disciplines for our projects. You will schedule, plan, forecast, resource, and manage all technical activities to assure project accuracy and quality from conception to completion.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement technical and engineering projects, ensuring they meet performance standards, client requirements, and product design.
  • Establish project specifications based on thorough reviews of performance standards, client requirements, and product design.
  • Develop, review, and approve system and component drawings, specifications, and fabrication requirements.
  • Collaborate with Plant Engineers to produce layout options, aligning with Plant Engineers on the best option.
  • Review project proposals and plans to develop project objectives.
  • Develop specifications for manufacture, determining materials, equipment, piping, material flows, capacities, and layout of plant and systems.
  • Monitor site safety and legal requirements, ensuring technical and engineering projects follow applicable codes and regulations.
  • Provide ongoing support to Field Engineers in electrical troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate project responsibilities, overseeing resource scheduling and execution.
  • Maximize efficiency and profitability of technical and engineering projects.
  • Interact daily with clients to interpret their needs and represent them in the field.
  • Cooperate and communicate effectively with project managers and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support.
  • Review engineering deliverables and initiate corrective actions.
  • Maintain system functionality through rigorous testing, identifying ways to improve efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Degree in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience in project management, project engineering, or project planning.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations, codes, and policies to ensure the best standards for a project are met.
  • Experience in field project management.
  • Experience in Industrial automation and PLC.
  • Previous related engineering experience.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Project Engineer.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Project Management.
  • Valid passport, driver's license, and insurance.
  • Ability to travel internationally (up to 50%).
  • Experience in the food industry required.
