About the Job

Moly Construction INC. is seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join our team. As a Drywall Installer, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, applying successive coats of compound, and sanding seams and joints to ensure a smooth finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets to create a solid foundation for our construction projects.
  • Apply coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for plastering and finishing.
  • Install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners and ensure a durable finish.
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
  • Finish corners and angles, and create decorative designs in the finish coat, if required.
Work Environment

As a Drywall Installer, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment with varying work sites, including commercial and residential projects. You will be required to work at heights, in dusty conditions, and in noisy environments.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in drywall installation.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and meet tight deadlines.
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic.
