Mainstreet Equity Corp Drywall Installer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join our team at Mainstreet Equity Corp. As a Drywall Installer, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, applying successive coats of compound, and sanding seams and joints.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
  • Filling joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
Work Environment:

As a Drywall Installer, you will work in various locations, including construction sites and warehouses. You will be required to bend, crouch, and kneel frequently, and have good hand-eye coordination and ability to perform repetitive tasks.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
  • Health care plan
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 32 hours per week
