The Role

As a Deficiency Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting completed work, identifying defects, and ensuring our projects meet our standard of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect completed construction projects to identify defects, errors, or issues that need to be addressed.
  • Carry out necessary repairs, adjustments, or replacements to fix identified deficiencies.
  • Collaborate with the construction team to ensure deficiencies are properly understood and resolved.
  • Ensure the final product meets quality standards by identifying and rectifying any issues that might affect the overall quality and integrity of the project.
Requirements:
  • Detailed-oriented construction labourer with problem-solving skills and adaptability.
  • Experience in floor repairs, countertop and refinishing bathtub repairs, damage prevention, quality control, and carpentry is an asset.
  • Previous experience with Procore Deficiency Program is an asset.
  • Good understanding of construction sites and general knowledge of the industry.
  • Ability to work with hand and power carpentry tools and other construction equipment.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate with supervisors and trade partners.
