We are seeking a highly skilled Program Director to join our team at the Employment Help Centre in Grimsby, Smithville or St. Catharine St., ON.

Cave Springs Camp and Conference Centre is a not-for-profit ministry of the United Church of Canada, located on 17 acres with stunning views of Lake Ontario.

About the Job

This is a unique opportunity to lead high-quality programming, develop year-round programs and events, and cultivate relationships with clients and community partners. You will oversee the summer camp program, school and outdoor education programs, and ensure inclusion of Christian education while maintaining a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of operations and programming for summer camp, including hiring, training, and evaluation of staff.
  • Development, provision, and evaluation of year-round programs and events that align with the mission and values of Cave Springs Camp.
  • Cultivating relationships with clients and community partners, including teachers, school boards, and area churches.
  • Plan and manage programming and operations budgets.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Experience in program development, education, or leadership group experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain excellent relationships with other organizations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must show attention to detail, be extremely organized, and proficient with computers and software.

Salary and Location

The estimated salary for this role is between $52,000 and $60,000 per year, depending on experience. The location is based in one of our three offices in Grimsby, Smithville or St. Catharine St., ON.
