Sales and Account Development Representative

As a Sales and Account Development Representative at Wesco, you will play a critical role in driving business growth by developing new prospects and nurturing existing customer relationships. Your primary focus will be on face-to-face selling and account management activities to meet sales revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and expand assigned customer account plans in conjunction with management.
- Drive billing margin initiatives through value-added services, marketing programs, and supplier engagement.
- Prospect potential customers through cold calling and referral channels.
- Identify and understand customer needs, suggesting products and services to meet those needs.
- Demonstrate product functionality to customers based on their requirements.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers through joint sales calls.
- Develop and deliver sales bids, presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; high school degree or equivalent for prior experience.
- Prior sales experience required, outside sales preferred.
- Two years of industry experience preferred.
- Ability to travel to current and potential clients and suppliers.
- Strong interpersonal skills, effective communication both written and verbally.
- Ability to work in a team environment, knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques (preferred).
Working Environment: Outside sales roles may require extended periods of driving, frequent stops, and exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
