Job Title: Community Service Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Community Service Coordinator to join our team at the Developmental Disabilities Association.

About the Job

The Community Service Coordinator will be responsible for implementing life skills workshops, assessing clients' relevant skill strengths and development needs, and assisting clients/guests with special needs. This is a permanent position working 37.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement life skills workshops designed to enhance the independence and well-being of clients.
  • Assess clients' relevant skill strengths and development needs to create personalized plans for improvement.
  • Provide support and assistance to clients/guests with special needs, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
Requirements:
  • Certification in Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI), First Aid, and CPR is required.
  • A criminal record check, driver's validity license check, and driving record check (abstract) are mandatory.
  • The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, efficient communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
