Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled Community Corrections Officer to join our team in Williams Lake, BC. As a Community Corrections Officer, you will play a vital role in assessing risks and needs, managing cases, and supervising adult clients under community supervision.
This position offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships, support clients in their reintegration journey, and contribute to the community in a deeply impactful way.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree from a Canadian designated educational institution or equivalent experience working with people with complex social, health, or legal needs.
In addition to education and experience requirements, candidates must demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The salary for this position ranges from $71, 771.66 annually for Level 1 (Growth) to $89, 268.45 annually for Full Working Level, which includes a 1 Grid Temporary Market Adjustment.
Key Responsibilities:- Assessing risks and needs of clients
- Managing cases and supervising adult clients under community supervision
- Providing individualized support and services to clients
- Collaborating with justice partners and community agencies
